We're looking for a PowerBI Developer with 3+ years of experience. As a BI developer, your role will be to design, deploy and maintain BI reporting solutions.

 

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Translating user requirements to technical specifications, data models and mapping
  • Designing, building and deploying new BI solutions based on the Microsoft BI stack
  • Maintaining and improving existing BI setup and solutions
  • Running tests and troubleshooting
  • Supporting User Acceptance Tests
  • Developing and executing adhoc database queries and conduct analyses
  • Collaborating with the BI, project, software development and production support teams
  • Updating technical documentation
  • Helping implement and follow best practices

 

The position is ideal for you if you have:

  • Minimum a bachelor's degree in IT, Maths, Statistics or similar field
  • Preferably 3+ years of working experience in a BI developer in an Agile environment.
  • Past experience in the investment banking sector is a plus
  • Fluency in English both oral and written
  • PowerBI proficiency: PBI Desktop, DAX language, Power Query, M language, PBI Report Server, RLS
  • SQL Server proficiency (SSMS Environment:/ Advanced T-SQL)
  • Basic knowledge of Oracle PL-SQL
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft SSIS (Create and Debug Packages, Deploy to SSIS Catalogue)
  • Microsoft SSRS proficiency (Report builder)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio data tools
  • Knowledge of Statistical analysis, Data visualization
  • Good understanding of Star/Snowflake Scheme modelling

 

It would also be great if you have:

  • Power BI Service
  • Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn…), Shell, Java
  • Microsoft SSAS
  • Multi-dimension modelling
