As Big Data & Analytics Center of Excellence, a data consulting and data engineering branch of SoftServe, we are looking for a skilled Senior Database Engineer (Neo4j) who will contribute to our client – a titan in the energy sector who is dedicated to innovating and investing in clean energy electrifying across 49 states in North America. Their storied history of corporate responsibility, operational excellence, and relentless innovation has not only earned them widespread recognition but also solidified their commitment to pioneering new technologies in the energy landscape.
SoftServe embarks on this thrilling journey with the client, therefore we are assembling an elite AI and Data Project Team of professionals to drive innovations in the energy and logistics domain. Our team plans to have more than 20 members in the first year, with some based on the East Coast of the USA and others in Poland. Expect to closely cooperate up to three days a week in our comfortable office located in Wrocław, Warsaw, Kraków, or Gdańsk.
IF YOU ARE
Skilled with Neo4j in a production environment Focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining Neo4j graph databases to support the organization's data needs The one who has collaborated with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models Good at optimizing database performance and query execution for optimal throughput and responsiveness Proficient in administration and maintenance of Neo4j databases, including monitoring database health and performance tuning Experienced with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data quality, performance, and scalability Knowledgeable of graph database concepts, including graph data modeling, traversal algorithms, and query language Skilled in distributed graph databases and cloud-based data platforms ( AWS Neptune) Proficient in developing and maintaining documentation

Collaborate with the team of data-focused engineers who specialize in ML, ML/Ops, Analytical AI, GenAI, large data engineering efforts, and AWS Work on a project that involves vector embeddings, R, Python, AWS Glue, RedShift, DynamoDB, Neo4j, Elastic, and Milvus for vector stores for AI projects Cooperate with customers from all over the world, from huge global corporations to crypto startups that are about to launch their first product Participate in the entire project lifecycle, from initial design through PoCs and MVP up to the full-scale implementation Help customers meet the goals of their analytics initiatives Implement from scratch or migrate Data Platforms, ETL, and BI solutions Investigate new technologies, build internal prototypes, and share knowledge with the SoftServe Big Data Community
