About this opportunity

As Accounting Manager you will be responsible for the timely and accurate completion of our EMEA close process for assigned entities and accuracy of the EMEA financial statements under US GAAP and local GAAP standards. The role is responsible for assigned general ledger activities, collaborating with various accounting departments and international teams. The location of your office will be Wrocław. We can offer a hybrid work model (2 HO days). In this role, you will… Overseeing all accounting activities related of assigned EMEA entities. Handling monthly calculations for Transfer Price and Tax provisions, along with associated journal entries. Managing statutory filings for assigned EMEA entities. Preparing and approving journal entries. Coordinating the month/quarter/year-end-close process with various departments such as FP&A, Payroll, US Corporate, US Tax, Shared Service Center Costa Rica, as well as external consultants. Conducting monthly fluctuation analysis on balance sheet accounts. Preparing and approving reconciliations in Blackline. Coordinating Fixed Asset Counts with team members. Overseeing tax filings for designated EMEA entities. Collaborating with internal stakeholders including VAT, Payroll, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, Treasury, and Corporate Accounting departments. Managing internal and external audit processes. Providing support for mark-up reviews. In this role, you’ll need … 7-10 years of relevant experience with progressive levels of responsibility. A Master's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience is required. CPA (or equivalent) certification is considered advantageous. Proficiency in general accounting practices under US GAAP and SOX compliance requirements. Familiarity with Swiss accounting and tax standards would be a plus. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive business solutions. Strong problem-solving skills, system orientation, and analytical capabilities. Demonstrated initiative and proactive approach to tasks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with management and cross-functional teams. Attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities. Experience with SAP and Blackline software is a plus.
