Senior Data Steward

As part of our strategy to put data at the center of our concerns, we are looking to strengthen our data governance.

On a permanent contract, the position can be in Marly (France) or Gdansk (Poland) within the Group's IT department and reports to the Head of Master Data Management & Data Governance.

In summary, you will be the guardian of the data organization and its management

Main Responsibilities:

Data Dictionary maintenance and enrichment to allow us to control data and metadata (Customer, Prospect, Contact, Product, etc.),

Mapping the processes, flows and life cycles of data (data lineage) to enable effective day-to-day control,

Helping the business owners of the data to pilot, collect the needs and arbitrate them,

Contribute to the definition of decision-making bodies and participate in them,

Participate in the definition of the general data governance policy (standards and processes for updating enterprise data models, security) and ensure the compliance of data perimeters with this policy,

Not forgetting data quality through the definition and monitoring of data quality indicators (profiling).

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 3 years experience in data analysis and modelling, ideally in/for the retail sector.

Methodological knowledge of user requirements, data modelling and management (Datalineage, DataModeling, Mapping, data dictionary, quality controls)

Knowledge of Master Data (repositories), Big Data and Datawarehouse concepts.

Understanding relational and noSQL database behavior, knowing DQA tool (Attacama) and PowerBI (Microsoft) is a plus.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Business Process understanding.

Project management (organize and prioritize).

Fluent business English (written and spoken).

Dans le cadre de notre stratégie visant à placer les données au centre de nos préoccupations, nous cherchons à renforcer notre gouvernance des données.

En contrat à durée indéterminée, le poste est à pourvoir à Marly (France) ou à Gdansk (Pologne) au sein du département IT du Groupe et est rattaché au Master Data Manager.

En résumé, vous serez le gardien de l'organisation des données et de leur gestion

Principales responsabilités:

Maintenance et enrichissement du dictionnaire de données pour nous permettre de contrôler les données et les métadonnées (client, prospect, contact, produit, etc.),

Cartographie des processus, des flux et des cycles de vie des données (data lineage) pour permettre un contrôle efficace au quotidien,

Aider les propriétaires métiers des données à piloter, recueillir les besoins et les arbitrer,

Contribuer à la définition des instances décisionnelles et y participer,

Participer à la définition de la politique générale de gouvernance des données (normes et processus de mise à jour des modèles de données d'entreprise, sécurité) et s'assurer de la conformité des périmètres de données à cette politique,

Ne pas oublier la qualité des données à travers la définition et le suivi d'indicateurs de qualité des données (profilage).

Qualifications et compétences:

Minimum 3 ans d'expérience dans l'analyse et la modélisation de données, idéalement dans/pour le secteur du commerce de détail.

Connaissance méthodologique des besoins des utilisateurs, de la modélisation et de la gestion des données (Datalineage, DataModeling, Mapping, dictionnaire de données, contrôles de qualité).

Connaissance des données de référence (référentiels), des concepts de Big Data et de Datawarehouse.

Compréhension du comportement des bases de données relationnelles et noSQL, connaissance des outils DQA (Attacama) et PowerBI (Microsoft) est un plus.

Goût pour le travail en mode collaboratif. Bonnes aptitudes à la communication et aux relations interpersonnelles,

Compréhension des processus d'affaires,

Gestion de projet (organisation et définition des priorités),

Anglais des affaires courantes (écrit et parlé).
