Overview

We are looking for Internal Auditor for IDG business units based in Europe, who will drive the business to document and improve their internal control related processes.

Responsibilities

Processing documentation for business processes related to financial reporting. Assisting management with the identification of financial reporting risk for processes they oversee. Assisting management with the design and implementation of internal controls over financial reporting. Drafting of memos for internal control design deficiencies. Conducting internal control testing for financially relevant operational and IT controls. Developing relationships with employees at various levels within the organization. Assisting external audit with request related to internal controls and other audit related items.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance from an accredited institution Minimum 1 year of experience in either audit, accounting, business or finance or 1 year of experience in a role that dealt with Internal Controls/SOX Familiarity with internal controls over financial reporting similar to SOX 404 requirements Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively and deliver timely results Ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization and work independently Effective written communication Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Risk Management Assurance or other audit Internal Audit affiliated designation is preferred but not required Previous Big 4 or large regional firm experience is a plus
