Product Solution Architect

Product Solution Architect is responsible for delivering concepts, designs and support of existing and new products architectures. Is developing architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity, price and scalability of product.

Major Accountabilities:

Pre-engagement support (technical) (together Customer Solution Team)

(Pre-) RFI/ RFQ support by analysing customer requirements

Customer interaction on needs, expectation, scope/target 

Definition of solution - offering platform products first following Aptiv strategy for HW & SW

Conduct technical reviews with OEMs

Align solutions within Aptiv between different departments

Create & provide high level HW Block Diagram

Create & provide high level SW structure

Ensure Cost estimate ( EFIT & BoM ) are done on time . take over lead if required

Drive product solution by guiding SYS, HW & SW competencies

Ensure proper estimate for required SW performance in place

Perform analyzes to get an understanding of different vehicle architecture

Responsible for product solution team tool chain

Definition of logical and physical product system architecture

Solution in line with MFGE , functional Safety and Cyber Security requirements / take lead to drive alignment

Your background:

Bachelor or MSc degree in electronics, telecommunication or related

Good command of English

Proficiency in smart power output & Power Supply design

Proficiency in microprocessor systems (embedded systems)

Proficiency in SW architecture & layers ( Autosar, QNX, Linux, BSP, etc. )

Proficiency and experience in summarizing and technical writing

Proficiency and experience in combining research and development activities

Knowledge in CAD and modeling and simulation tools

Leadership skills
