Your responsibilities:
  • Work within a project team to help deliver IT change within the regulatory reporting space.
  • Work closely with the Regulatory Reporting team, Finance and Treasury on changes, upgrades and enhancement requests.
  • Have familiarity around regulatory reporting,BASEL III / IV regulation and appreciate components such as Liquidity Coverage Ratio, Counterparty Credit Risk ALMM, PRA110 etc.
  • Write functional specifications touching on key technical requirements which the Tech development team can interpret and build new functionality within the Moody's RAY framework.
  • Run workshops to help crystallize or refine requirements.
  • Provide guidance on mapping and configuration in Moody's RAY to enable accurate reporting of Capital and Liquidity through the standard reporting templates.
  • Work closely with IT team on technical specifications & delivering software to the business.
  • Carry out testing running end of day processing in Moody's Risk Authority to produce regulatory reports and work closely with end users in interpreting and validating test results.
  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders in terms of progress and status of issues.
  • Ensure change is compliant with strict change control policies and system changes are subjected to rigorous testing.


Requirements
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of Moody's RAY platform which includes a basic understanding of the underlying database tables used in Capital and Liquidity reporting.
  • Have a good level of understanding of the BASEL regulatory framework including COREP reporting, RWA calculations and collateral management.
  • Be comfortable discussing LCR, NSFR, ALMM & AE, with a working knowledge of the key reporting templates used for regulatory submissions for Capital and Liquidity.
  • Be adept at interrogating the underlying database tables using SQL*Plus through TOAD, SQL Developer or equivalent.
  • Manage enhancement requests through writing specifications for the technical development team.
  • Test the software either through Systems Integration Testing, or through working with the business on User Acceptance Testing. This includes all phases of the test cycle including writing test scripts, executing tests, capturing defects, re-testing etc.
  • Have experience working with interfaces, understanding the challenges around data flow, transformation, transportation, reconciliation etc.
  • Understand the project life cycle with a clear appreciation of scope and be adept at understanding the different approaches and methodologies used to deliver large scale change in manner which minimizes business disruption.
  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders in terms of progress and status of issues.
