Gl and asset accounting specialist

Miejsce pracy: Katowice

  • Processing GL transactions (closing of accounting periods, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting);
  • Fixed Assets transactions (Records, depreciation, inventory);
  • Performing month-end closing activities, providing support to markets in addressing their cases while maintaining an end-to-end understanding of core GL and Fixed Asset processes;
  • Participating in continuous SAP and process training to enhance knowledge of processes and system matters, and supporting the training of new joiners as a buddy;
  • Ensuring timely closing of each fixed asset and GL period end in accordance with IFRS and JSOX requirements.
  • A university degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a multinational company, preferably in the GL or Fixed Assets department;
  • A strong command of the English language, both orally and in writing;
  • An end-to-end understanding of core GL and Fixed Asset processes;
  • SAP experience, preferably in SAP 4 HANA;
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Employment contract;
  • Hybrid or remote work;
  • Flexible starting hours: from 8 to 10 a.m;
