Financial Controller

Role Overview:

Otis Poland is currently, seeking for Financial Controller to join our Finance Team. This role is based in Warsaw and you will be reporting to Finance Manager in Poland and you predominantly will be responsible for controlling and management accounting.

On a typical day you will:

Monitoring and testing on regular basis key controls (SOX and SOD testing, cooperation with Regional Financial Controller)

Participating in internal and external audits, co-designing, monitoring and supervising the process of implementing recovery plans after audits and internal tests

Ensuring consistency of the applied principles with financial, accounting, legal standards and other local regulations and company policy

Regular monitoring and reporting of risk domains

Acting as finance business partner for Installation Department

Supporting Installation and Service Director in P&L topics (in particular: control of settlements of long-term contracts, project reestimation, cooperation and regular meetings and reviews of long-term projects with installation managers, major project managers and other specialists)

Monthly BS and P&L reporting, variance verification and analyses before monthly/quarterly reporting; approving reporting before submission,

Review and approve monthly local and USGAAP balance sheet account reconciliations (ARMS) and yearly Stat-to-GAAP reconciliation

Preparing forecasts

Preparing various calculations, reports and presentations in the field of management accounting and budgeting

Cooperation with banks (BAR)

What You Will Need to be Successful:

At least 3 years of experience in finance/controlling department

Master degree in Finance, Math or other business related field

Analytical mindset

Very good command of MS Excel

Very good knowledge of English, at least B2 level

Pro-active approach, ability to building relationships and communicate effectively

Team – player
