  • Overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, including posting journal entries and performing reconciliations.
  • Taking a full ownership of the accounting, completing period closing of the accounts within set deadlines.
  • Performing regular tax and regulatory reporting.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
  • Collaborating with the finance team to analyze financial data and prepare reports for local and group management.
  • Financial statement preparation and coordinating audit work.
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing streamlined financial procedures.
  • Assisting in budgeting and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven 5 years' experience in the position of Chief Accountant or equivalent. Experience in the consumer lending industry will be considered an advantage.
  • Expert knowledge of Polish accounting, taxation and regulatory environment.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Business
  • Strong analytical and time management skills.
  • MS Excel knowledge at advanced level.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
