We are looking for a passionate Product Owner for our Service Management tools (BMC suite). You will, in close collaboration with the Product manager, your team, vendor BMC and internal stakeholders, drive the continuous enhancement of our products and enable adoption of new tech and drive innovation. This is a permanent position.

About our team  

Meet the ITSM Solution Engineering team. Our role is to deliver the best in market service management tech to Nordea. We are a newly created team comprised of seasoned ITSM architects, scrum master, process owners, application manager, application providers, developers and operational support. Our goal is simple, ensure smooth sailing daily operations, implement bug fixes and at the same time analyze and adopt new technologies in market. We advocate decentralized decision making and we have a very flat hierarchy to encourage this. You will be empowered to make decisions yourself and drive your area with full mandate. You will be fully supported by your leaders and your talented new team who will share your passion and supplement your skills, knowledge with theirs. What you’ll be doing

Main responsibilities in this role:

Execute ITSM strategy and roadmap for our product portfolio which consists for BMC Helix, BMC ADDM/Discovery, Digital Workplace, Virtual agent, Helix GPT etc. and promote our capabilities to different business units in Nordea Ensure adoption of new capabilities in tools, modules and ways of working across Nordea technology Maintain a close collaboration with external partners – BMC, HCL etc. to ensure timely delivery and adoption  Manage internal stakeholders – which involves Process owners, technology consumers, internal business customers and create/maintain the product backlogs, ensure delivery Drive internal forums and community of practice to communicate to a wider audience within Nordea what our mission, vision and plan is

Who you are

This is the right role for you if:

You have a great communication and stakeholder management skills. You are structured and loves to organize your work, and you champion this way of working  You are able to operate strategically and understand the big-picture of ITSM and our product landscape. However you need not be very technical in this area, but knowledge of Jira is a must. You think holistically and understand that you can only innovate when there is good stability on already implemented features. Are a master collaborator that constructively maintains cross-functional partnerships  Have a can-do attitude and can adapt well to changing priorities 

Your background and skills include:

Experienced Product Owner or project manager with a proven track record in your area Expert in SAFe/SCRUM/Agile methodologies. We prefer someone who is skilled in frameworks but at the same time is a realist who knows that there is no one-size that fits all organizations Exertise in handling a diverse product backlog, can handle multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously, can keep a level head and approach conflicts with an open mind and constructive solution thinking You are someone who is not defined by your job title and can take on multiple hats if needed

It would be ideal if you also:

Have great communication skills in English and experienced in running a community of practice Knows ITSM tools well – like BMC Helix, ServiceNow or similar Have experience working in a highly regulated environment like banking, pharma etc.
