About the team
DevOps team is international and works on the core system, critical for company’s success. It has a pivotal role in maintaining, innovating, and optimizing our technological infrastructure, ensuring that our development teams and customers experience the best possible performance and reliability. Who are we looking for?
An enthusiastic, problem-solver person that come with the ideas upfront. We seek for a partner who would bring knowledge and enthusiasm on the board, willing to share experience and ideas within engineering and operations departments. A passion about automation, cloud operations, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance product delivery and developer satisfaction is very important for us.
Your responsibilities
- Ensure high availability and reliability of all production and test environments.
- Develop automation solutions for standard DevOps tasks such as deployments, monitoring, and scaling. This includes writing scripts to reduce the need for human intervention.
- Assist our software engineering teams by providing the necessary infrastructure (servers, storage, and networking), tools, and frameworks needed for continuous delivery.
- Enhance the efficiency of development workflows through continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices, thereby increasing developers' satisfaction and productivity.
- Quickly respond to and resolve system failures and mitigate potential outages or disruptions.
- Work closely with engineering teams to design and implement robust solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Regularly update skills and knowledge to utilize the best tools, technologies, and practices.
Our requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration.
- Experience with automation software like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and managing scalable cloud-based environments.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Problem-solving skills - ability to troubleshoot and optimize application deployments and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical teams.
