As part of the structures, we are looking for specialists in the field of international accounting & tax, human resources and payroll, and global entity management. We also build teams that will be responsible for handling international funds and supporting internal financial processes of the TMF Group.

 Job purpose 

As the Junior Client Accountant you will support the Accounting and Tax team for specific European market (Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Nordics, UKI, Germany, Italy) on a day-to-day basis, with a portfolio of corporate clients for whom TMF provides accounting services.
You can expect to learn a range of new skills, including how to work effectively in teams and how to use accounting software’s. You will also improve your communication skills, develop your analytical abilities, and grow your accounting knowledge. You will be working in English language.

At this role you will have possibility to work on hybrid model.

Key responsibilities

  • Up-to-date accounting of the basic documentation received (incoming invoices, travel expenses, outgoing invoices, bank statements);
  • Handling archive;
  • Payment processes;
  • VAT preparation;
  • Assistance in audits and tax inspections;
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual reports to government bodies; 
  • Reconciliations of vendor/customer open items;
  • Travel expenses administration.

 Key requirements

  • Professional knowledge of English (B2 level minimum);
  • Knowledge of French or German or Italian would be an asset;
  • Bachelor Degree preferably in Accounting / Economy or related field
  • Previous experience in accounting (AP, AR or GL) would be preferred;
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles;
  • Professional manner and positive can-do attitude;
  • Any internship in this area would be desirable;
  • Experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Good communication, problem solving skills and networking capability.
