Summary
The IT company Andersen invites a Business Analyst/Product Owner to work on a project for one of our UK customers.
The customer is a market leader in digital payment security. It provides payment solutions to legal and professional service industries, as well as to marketplaces and eCommerce platforms. The company's clients include top-tier law firms and lenders with a total amount in transactions of over £7 billion.
The task is to build an analytics platform that is capable of supporting Data Analysts who produce predefined structured data outputs.
Responsibilities
Creating key system analysis artifacts across events, processes, and data. Performing process decomposition (BPMN, UML activity diagram, UML sequence diagram, class diagram). Documenting user and functional requirements in the User Story format, with identified and described in detail acceptance criteria. Maintaining documentation for Platform scope, definition, reference and presentations materials (Confluence, Miro). Collating inputs by reviewing existing documentation and collaborating with stakeholders. Decomposing feature sets from the delivery roadmap into Features/Epics, and then into User Stories (using Gherkin, acceptance criteria, Definition of Ready, Definition of Done). Taking ownership of the refinement process and identifying improvements for assigned areas. Consolidating all stakeholder inputs to create suitable tickets in Jira for Scrum teams, involving collaboration with testers, the security team, developers, product UX/UI designers, and product managers. Defining and ensuring traceability across all key artifacts, including the traceability matrix, delivery roadmap, functional decomposition, requirements lists, high- and low-level flow diagrams, and customer journey map.
Requirements
Solid experience as a Business Analyst for 4+ years. Experience in the Financial/Payments domain (e.g. KYC\KYB, AML, CDD\EDD, GDPR, bank account verification, payment processing, transactions, reconciliation, banking, notification providers, SWIFT\SEPA). Extensive knowledge of business analysis practices and techniques. Understanding of software development tools and methods, hands on with Agile methodology. Experience of API documentation. Experience in modeling business processes (at least BPMN/UML). Knowledge of requirements management tools (at least Jira and Confluence, Miro). Experience in managing and improving high-quality scalable software products. Skills in effective management of customer business expectations. Ability to adapt to changing conditions (priorities, requirements, deadlines). Strong leadership, coordination, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.
Desired skills
Experience as a Product Owner for 1+ years. Product Owner certification.
