Our customer is a large, global FMCG manufacturer. One of its production plants employing over 500 people is located in western Poland. The factory is producing various consumer goods (over 800 SKU) manufactured on 10 production lines (frequent change overs). Currently, due to the real development of the company we are searching for a professional ready to take the position:

 

Supply Chain Manager

 

Location: Northern Lower Silesia

Ref: SCMW/0424

 

Tasks:

The SCM is a member of factory management team and global supply chain management team. It focuses on both strategic planning and everyday execution.

  • Effective management of a subordinate team of approximately 50 individuals, encompassing production planning, warehouse, and purchasing
  • Superivision over production planning process covering long, mid and short term schemes
  • Close cooperation with other departments (HR, technology, lean) to ensure the accurate planning parameters
  • Close cooperation with other production plants in terms of information exchange and “subcontracting” within the group of some production batches,
  • Managing internal logistics processes, inculding warehousing and delivering materials to the production lines
  • Responsibility for inbound and outbound logistics and cooperation with external suppliers
  • Supervision over purchasing process and cooperation with suppliers (execution of the purchasing - global sourcing is carried out by another part of the organization)
  • Responsibility for KPIs: OTIF, planning accuracy, costs reductions and budget accuracy, etc.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience on a similar position including responsibility for production planning
  • University Degree (preferably logistics or economics or technical education)
  • Good organizational and leadership skills (coordination of projects and promoting lean culture)
  • Dynamism, flexibility and proactive approach
  • Good financial acumen, calculations, costs analysis
  • English language command, min. upper intermediate / B2
