We are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to join our Credit & AR team where you will work from the Weybridge or Warsaw offices in a hybrid model (3 days on-site, 2 days from home) to provide expertise on Credit Risk Management, create solutions to remove credit blockers for Sony’s sales teams and customers and seek to create strong relationships.
As a key member of the function, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day credit risk, dispute resolution, and bad & doubtful debts in your region, and provide expert credit risk advice and problem-solving for Sony businesses and multiple entities, including consumer and B2B, and key customers, some of whom are active in both Europe and Worldwide regions, with a focus on service-managed contract-related credit. You will work on a range of tasks, but also projects ranging from customer-specific to optimising processes, and you will be required to build relationships across local Sales & Marketing Teams, Sony Platforms, our outsource partner, and dealers.

You will:
Provide Expertise on Credit Risk Management to minimise bad debts and overall related general accounting (insurance, legal, etc). Deliver the local AR & Credit-related activities by applying technical finance expertise and people skills under the direct supervision of the Credit Manager. Assist the Credit Manager in finding alternative and cost-effective ways of managing credit risk. Work as a business partner with sales, customers and credit insurers bringing value add in decision-making, forward planning, and risk mitigation Be the first contact point for AR & Credit related issues in own portfolio. Ensure timely maintenance of all credit-related customer master data. Ensure due diligence of customers to be assigned is completed timely. Take all necessary actions to minimise the risk of overdue on assigned customers. Work jointly with the outsourced partner and Sales teams on overdue escalations Ensure timely review and controlled release of credit-blocked orders. Proactively work to improve efficiency and reduce overall workload, while ensuring credit risk is optimised and bad debts avoided Regularly review own portfolio in order to report protracted overdues to the credit insurance provider in a timely manner.You will bring:

Warsaw
Based at the Warsaw Office you will enjoy a modern working environment. Our office is part of City Gate and is located near the centre of Warsaw, on the border of the Central Business District (COB) and Wola. This location guarantees easy access to the facility, both by public transport and by car, and additionally, there are metro stations of line 1 (Ratusz Arsenał) and line 2 (Rondo Daszyńskiego) nearby. We have an onsite canteen and café, with free coffee/tea available in the office kitchens.
Weybridge
Based at the Weybridge office, you will enjoy a vibrant and friendly working environment. We have an onsite canteen with a wide range of options available, and a barista style coffee shop. There is a well-provisioned onsite gym run by our own Sony Wellbeing Coordinator, with classes on set days in the mornings, at lunch and after work hours.
