Responsibilities

  • Analysis and creation of an optical concept and verification of its feasibility
  • Design of optical surfaces - in particular, reflectors, colimators, light pipes, blades, etc.​
  • Simulations of optical systems
  • Validation of results against regulatory requirements and lighting criteria
  • Optimization of optical design, improvement of uniformity of function
  • Performing photometric measurements

Requirements

  • Experience in designing lamps for automotive
  • Knowledge of CATIA V5 software
  • Knowledge of Optispeos and/or Lucidshape, or other related software
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Independence
  • Good knowledge of English; German will be an added advantage
