In this role, you will work independently, taking full ownership of the design, interface, and programming of both simple and complex web applications. The ideal candidate should be adept at providing accurate estimates for tasks and taking responsibility for those estimates. As a Java Developer, you will engage with web applications and various back-end technologies, primarily focusing on Java. However, you cannot be afraid of touching frontend or testing. EXCITED YET? Responsibilities:

Working closely with Creative, Business, Technology to ensure the technology will be functional and meet performance targets, Owning the development of sub-systems and ensure they follow the established technical architecture and design, Implementing user and business requirements which are composed of multiple development activities or touch various sub-systems, Maintaining concise and clear documentation on projects as dictated by each capability’s guidelines and best practices Debugging complex issues in existing software applications, Providing proactive feedback on policies and procedures when an opportunity for improvement exists.

Who are we looking for?

2 - 6 years’ software development experience, with the primary focus on Java, Proficiency designing and developing rich web applications using various technologies such as JavaScript, Java, JavaScript, ReactJs, , and web services, Proficiency designing and developing backend services using various technologies such as Spring , GRPC, Java EE., Work experience with automation and pre-processing tools (, Gradle, Maven, Ant, Powershell), Work experience with data storage patterns and practices, namely relational (SQL) and/or non-relational (NoSQL, MongoDB) platforms, Work experience integrating web solutions with external web service, Knowledge of design patterns (, observer, etc.) and software engineering principles, Fluency with data transfer formats and protocols popular in web applications (, XML, HTTP), Excellent communication skills in both English and Polish.
