Senior Engineer - Flexible Pipelines

Job Description

• Design flexible pipe cross-sections, end-fittings and perform mechanical behavior and stress calculations
• Flexible pipe global analysis, service life / fatigue, interference, in-place analysis and on-bottom stability
• Flexible pipe dynamic riser configuration design and optimization
• Prepare technical documentation and reports
• Prepare technical specifications for ancillary equipment
• Quality surveillance including manufacturing- and supplier follow-up
• Ensure high focus on HSE and Quality throughout engineering tasks
• Support FEED, Study and Tender activities
• Support global SSI (Simplification, Standardization, Industrialization) improvement initiatives
• Travel may be required

You are meant for this job if:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent with 5-10 years of experience in the field
• Strong technical skills in engineering
• Strong communication skills, presentation and coaching skills
• Positive attitude, able to adapt to new technology, and working with different cultures
• Flexible and able to handle hectic periods
• Excellent command of English language
• Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Norway, without sponsorship

Nice to have's:
• Experience with flexible pipe systems
• Experience with Orcaflex software
• Experience with offshore installation and/or fabrication sites
