Established in January , it is one of L'Oréal's most rapidly growing units. BEST carries out accounting processes for markets from Central and Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. BEST consists of the following departments: Process to Payment, Cash Accounting, General Ledger, Treasury, Delivery Excellence, and Controlling, responsible for OPEX costs.What distinguishes BEST is, among other things, the constant striving for process improvement and standardization. As GL Accountant in the RR Team, your responsibilities will be:

Review and post journal entries regarding trade receivables provision i.e. bad debts, provision return, customer promo allowances, year-end rebates etc.  Review and post journal entries regarding HR provisions i.e. annual bonuses, sales bonus incentives and commissions, profit sharing, non-paid holidays etc.  Review and post journal entries regarding stock provision i.e. stock commitments, SLOB’s Post provision for Sell-Out promo Prepare Fi-CO reconciliation. Prepare reports for audit purposes. Liaise with Auditors in case of any questions. Follow Standard Operating Procedures regarding General Ledger and Reporting. Perform Balance Sheet reconciliation especially provisions accounts. Leading the Balance Sheet meetings with CFOs. Prepare P&L reports for CFO and Division Controllers, and report P&L data to Compass. Inventories and Margin on inventories Reporting. CAPEX Reporting. Reporting of Credit Indicators TAP alignment.

You are a perfect match if you have:

Fluent English; knowledge of other language(s) will be an asset.  University degree or in the course of study with a major in Economics, Finance, and Accounting. Knowledge of accounting rules, standards, and regulations. High interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, Compass, and Magnitude systems. Attention to detail and thoroughness. Knowledge of accounting and General Ledger processes. Strong customer-driven focus. Good analytical skills.
