Due to increased activities and many new projects that are being signed, we are now looking for new Resource Manager - Mechanical within Gas Solutions

Your main responsibilities will then include

Capacity Planning: Forecast resource needs for current and upcoming projects to ensure the appropriate allocation of personnel. Anticipate potential resource constraints or surpluses and proactively address them.

Workload Balancing : Ensure equitable distribution of workload among team members to prevent burnout and maintain productivity levels. Monitor workload distribution and reallocate resources as needed to optimize efficiency.

Project Prioritization: Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize projects based on strategic objectives, resource availability, and business impact. Make data-driven decisions to align resource allocation with organizational goals. ·

Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance and productivity of team members. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to resource utilization, project delivery, and client satisfaction. 

Resource Forecasting: Analyse historical data and project requirements to forecast future resource needs accurately. Develop resource plans and strategies to ensure adequate staffing levels for upcoming projects.

Compliance and Policy Adherence : Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations related to resource management, including labour laws, contractual agreements, and internal policies (with respect to different locations).

Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine resource management processes and workflows. Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and efficiency gains to enhance overall productivity and performance. ·

Stakeholder Communication: Communicate regularly with project managers, department heads, and senior leadership to provide updates on resource allocation, capacity planning, and workforce trends. Act as a liaison between different teams to ensure alignment and coordination.

Accountabilities

Resource Allocation: Effectively assign personnel to projects based on their skills, expertise, and availability while considering project requirements and deadlines.

Skills Management: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the skills and capabilities of each team member. Identify skill gaps and development opportunities to enhance the overall

proficiency of the workforce, with respect to Staffing (short term), Resource planning (mid-term), Strategic workforce planning (long term) needs based on the overall Company strategy.

Onboarding: provide new employees with a comprehensive orientation program that includes an introduction to the company culture, policies, procedures, and expectations, coupled with

personalized training and mentorship to facilitate a smooth transition into their new role, with respect to Staffing (short term), Resource planning (mid-term), Strategic workforce planning (long

term) needs based on the overall Company strategy.

Career Development: Support the career growth and professional development of team members. Provide guidance on training opportunities, certifications, and career advancement

paths to foster individual growth and retention, with respect to Staffing (short term), Resource planning (mid-term), Strategic workforce planning (long term) needs based on the overall

Company strategy.

Capacity planning: Keep the utilization rate for the team within the target level as decided by the company.

Knowledge Sharing : Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration among team members. Encourage cross-training and knowledge transfer to build a more versatile and resilient workforce.

Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in resource management and workforce planning. Participate in professional

development activities to enhance your own skills and knowledge

The below will enable you to shine in this role:

BSc or MSc in a relevant field, or qualified by equivalent experience Demonstrable understanding of system Engineering Understanding of the impact from Engineering to Lifecycle cost and effectiveness Practical understanding of project management and project execution Safety focused mindset Excellent communication skills and a customer centric approach Collaborative team leader with a high degree of initiative, drive, accountability, judgment, innovation, creativity and flexibility Experience from working in multi-cultural teams Fluency in English, both written and verbal
