Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator in Relational and Non-Relational Database technologies to join our team. As a DBA, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and managing our company’s databases. An individual who can work independently and willing to take on new challenges and grow their knowledge.

Your Role:

Experience in MySQL, Mongo and Azure SQL Server databases. Performance Troubleshooting. Experience in AWS and Azure cloud environments. Regular Health check of the systems and its performance. Ability to automate the tedious manual processes. Backup and recovery, high availability/Cluster and DR. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Must communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and written. Document the procedures and policies. Tuning reviews/assessments and query monitoring. Deploy and Upgrade Databases. Update and modify database structure and data while ensuring database integrity, stability and system availability. Maintain, monitor and optimize databases.

Your Background:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (electrical, systems, computer science, software, computer or related field of study) 2 - 3+ years of Database administration experience with one or more of the Cloud Database technologies like Atlas, SQL Server, Cosmos, and MySQL Databases.

Additional Background Preferences:

Experience with AWS RDS MySQL and Mongo technologies is a plus. Experience with DR drills in Azure Cloud. Advanced Database tuning expertise. Experience in Datadog monitoring is a plus. Cloud and On Prem Experience preferred.
