Job Description
Information Architect owns the documentation portfolio for a product group. Creates the conceptual design, reviews and maintains documentation updates. This role performs needs analysis for documentation updates, creates the conceptual design documents and makes recommendations to PM's and functional managers to guide resource assignments. Collaborates with developers to implement design of manuals at the same time tracking project scope changes to ensure requirements are met.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Excellent English in speaking and writing
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Strong organizational and structuring skills
Considerable knowledge of Motorola Solutions products as well as radio and telecommunications concepts
Significant experience in technical publications and/or instructional methods and learning theory
Experience in product/documentation development processes and approaches
Experience in alternative media technologies, methodologies, and tools, and their relation to customer needs
Experience in DITA and XML documentation development
Familiarity with the Information Mapping methodology
Familiarity with the Agile and Scrum methodologies
