Position Summary

An Associate Buyer supports the delivery of procurements KPI’s including managing procurement processes, creating and delivering reports, supporting our colleagues with procurement needs, whilst being responsible for contract renewal negotiations and assigned projects, as their procurement skills evolve.

Responsibilities

Responsible for operational procurement processes. Manages and supports day-to-day stakeholder relationship activities. Provide administrative support and maintenance of systems and processes tools to ensure accuracy of data. Responds to stakeholder queries and takes action where needed. Executes supplier negotiations, with support of line manager including: Contract renewals, cost reduction, value creation and cash flow improvement negotiations. Conducts reliable analysis when requested. Supports risk and compliance program management.

What we are looking for

Likely to have less than 1 years Procurement experience. Experience of basic negotiation. Can demonstrate collaborative skills to deliver results. Resilient and enjoys seeing tasks through to their completion. Well developed IT skills and proficient with Microsoft Office tools. Effective organizational and planning skills.
