BIT Operations Engineer

Join OLX and see how far you can go .We are looking for a Corporate IT Engineer (f/m) in our great office in Poznan. As an IT Engineer, you'll be offered a unique opportunity to become a part of an international team of top engineers contributing to the global OLX Group success, responsible for the Availability and Performance of OLX internal IT systems and services supporting the underlying cloud and network stack.We’re a team of 3,000 ambitious, curious people building marketplace platforms that make it super easy for anyone to buy and sell almost anything, boosting local economies.

What you will be doing:

Operate a global rapidly evolving Internal IT System at scale; Manage and automate many aspects of our services and their daily operation in the Cloud; Ensure that our services and infrastructure are up-to-date with modern security standards; Troubleshoot and diagnose office network issues (eg. connectivity issues); Provide L3 support; Work on solving network issues in our on premise and cloud infrastructure; Build tooling to increase visibility into our running production systems, measure performance continuously, and act upon changes; Help us manage our key SaaS solutions (G Suite, Slack etc) for whole OLX organization; Manage networking stock (order, collect, pack & ship devices)

Who we are looking for:

You take ownership, are curious and a team player; BSc or MSc in Computer Science or any related field; DNS knowledge is a must; You have some experience in writing Python or Bash code; You can work with tickets on a daily base; You have knowledge of core internet protocols and core networking concepts (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, WiFi, VPN, basic routing WPA); Experience with administration of at least one of: Okta, G-Suite, Slack, Atlassian Confluence & Jira; You know what's the difference between VLAN and WLAN; Good verbal and written English.

Nice to have

Experience with integration Middleware platforms (e.g. Dell Boomi); You can explain what is Jumbo frame; Experience with Linux; Working knowledge of Cisco/Meraki infrastructure Why join OLX?  At OLX, we invest in ourselves and each other to reach our full potential.
