Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to join our team at Accor Services Poland.

As the Chief Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our accounting books are kept in a reliable and correct manner, following both Polish tax law and international accounting standards.

This position will be based at our Accor Support Office in Warsaw, and will manage accounting activities for Poland, Hungary, and Romania. 

What will you do? 

Reconcile balance sheet accounts 

Verify the accuracy of postings made by the external accounting service provider 

Supervise and coordinate the month-end close process 

Participate in monthly reporting 

Coordinate and supervise the work in the areas of AP (Payables Accounting Department), AR (Receivables Accounting Department), and GL (General Ledger Department) 

Coordinating and supervising the Company's tax obligations 

Coordinating the mandatory audit


Qualifications

Our ideal profile would be: 

Fluent in English 

Experience in shared services or accounting services 

Extensive knowledge of accounting, taxes, and finance 

Skilled in building and enforcing new procedures 

Master’s Degree in Finance and Accounting 

Minimum of 8 years of professional experience 

Goal-oriented with the ability to perform and deliver under pressure 

Strong communication skills 

High work ethics and confidentiality
