Description

We are looking for a Senior GCP Engineer to join the team working for one of the largest global search engine and cloud provider company. In this role you will work closely with the clients cloud release and delivery team.

This project enables customers to quickly tune foundation models and reliably deploy them into production environments using CI/CD tooling. This will involve the enablement of Cloud Build and Cloud Deploy integrations with Vertex AI.

Responsibilities

Help data scientists accelerate with bringing their ML pipelines faster to production in a more automated process Develop integration with existing ML Vertex AI pipelines Create CI/CD components for integration with major external platforms i.e. Tekton, GitHub, GitLab, Cloud Deploy Create public Docker containers for the integrations between Vertex and Version Control Systems Create sample implementation and basic step by step tutorial for the developer community to adopt

Requirements

3+ year of relevant work experience Good GCP knowledge or minimum experience with GCP APIs Previous experience building CI/CD pipelines Strong scripting skills for automation (Python, Bash) Proven experience with Git version control systems (Github, Gitlab) Hands-on experience building Docker containers Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team B2+ English level proficiency

ML Ops experience Basic Kubernetes knowledge Vertex AI Knowledge Experience developing one of the following GitHub Actions, Tekton Step Actions, Cloud Deploy custom targets, GitLab components Any Google Cloud Certification (E.g. GCP Architect or Data Engineer)
