Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Role With a keen interest in the development field, your main objective will be to develop software in accordance with the strategy of Kuehne + Nagel. This software development role will incorporate the initial design, development & writing of code alongside suitable & appropriate testing and effective implementation. If you have extensive experience in this field and you are looking for a development opportunity in a global organization, we would be interested in hearing from you. Your Responsibilities

  • Be involved throughout the entire development lifecycle, from requirements definition through realization to demo and product delivery.
  • Work closely with the business department to find the best technical and functional solution for new feature requests and improvements.
  • Contribute to the active development of the whole product team. Identify and propose changes to improve the Development Process.
  • You will develop Java-based internal digital products within the global SeaAllocation Portfolio (Web/Desktop), write clean code and take responsibility for quality and long-term maintainability of the developed software. You will also work collaboratively on definition, specification and design of a modular and integrated software products and design as well as implement automated tests for your code.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Experience in working in small to medium software development teams in an agile environment.
  • Like the idea of being a supporter + mentor, having a strong passion for IT and know how to find pragmatic and innovative solutions with maximum business value.
  • Have the strong will to evolve personally as well as a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Foster a no-blame culture, dare to fail, and share opinions.
  • Have academic degree in IT / Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • Have strong object-oriented programming skills.
  • Have several years of expertise being successful in the field as a full stack developer using Java, Spring, Hibernate, Docker, OpenShift, ELK, Jenkins, RabbitMQ, Git, Oracle, or PostgreSQL plus experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular or NgRx.
  • Knowledge about Hexagonal architecture, Kafka, API Gateways, Micro service architecture, DevOps will make you a super interesting candidate.
  • Have fluent command of English (oral and written). Polish is very useful. German nice to have.
