Embedded Competency Center is seeking a talented Lab Engineer to help accelerate development of high-quality smart home products. The candidate will support testing and prototyping requests as well as help us scale the services offered by our client’s hardware lab.

Your role Conduct electrical components and sub-assemblies validation and field failure analysis and hardware validation Create and maintain lab work instructions and test procedures Assist in prototyping and test fixture development Work with Firmware Engineers to bring up new hardware and debug designs Your skills At least 3 years of lab or testing experience Familiarity with consumer electronic devices, lab equipment, environmental testing, and component reliability Knowledge of network issues (wireshark, configuration of switches, WiFi)  Hands-on Linux (command line usage) Experience testing hardware products

Optional:

Bachelor's degree in Electronics or related engineering field Experience with rapid prototyping technologies Understanding of analog, digital and high-speed circuit design
