To support the program and countries live we want to strengthen the Test Team of the IT European Organization and add an additional Test Engineer. Tech Platform is a cloud-based core platforms developed by Securitas for handling deliveries and services. As the engineer you will work closely with development team and will be responsible for testing deliveries during sprints and user acceptance test.

Securitas vision is to become the Intelligent Protective Services Partner through being client centric, data driven, and people focused. Our protective services help make your world a safer place. To achieve this vision, Securitas Europe has launched a business transformation program: North Star program Common Core.

North Star program Common Core is the transformation Program of the European Division in Securitas. The objective of the program is to transform and unify organization and processes in all European countries by new common platform enabler. The program launched 3 years ago, and it has now entered a new phase to manage the roll-out in upcoming countries as we have already gone live in number of countries. 

Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Strategy: developing test plans and future test strategies.
• Test Case Development: designing, developing and maintaining test cases and scenarios to validate the functionality and performance.
• Test Execution: being able to execute different types of testing across System Under Test.
• Defect Management: identifying, reporting and tracking defects using appropriate defect tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
• Documentation: creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test scripts and test reports.
• Continuous Improvement: proactively identifying opportunities to enhance testing processes, methodologies and tools to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and quality assurance standards.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position. 
• Hands-on experience with test management tools, for example Azure DevOps or JIRA.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Relevant certifications, such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Certified Software Tester (CSTE).
• Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role with a focus on Oracle ERP systems.
• Knowledge on Microsoft Dynamics.
