We’re using cutting-edge technologies like Cybersource and Authorize.net to design and build full-service Payment Management solutions. These solutions combine global payment processing, fraud management, and payment security systems.

As a Sr. Consultant in our Enterprise Risk Solutions Team, you will be a driving force behind our services. You’ll be responsible for leading, designing, enhancing, and building these services in an agile development environment.

You will collaborate with team members who will support, challenge, and inspire you every day. You’ll be involved in all aspects of our development process, from unit testing and code reviewing to continuous integration.

Our products are used by a broad customer base, including Apple, Facebook, Nike, Emirates, and many others. This means you’ll see your code go from development to production in just a few days, and it will be used by some of the biggest names in the world.

Some of Your Key Responsibilities

  • A Senior Consultant who goes beyond just coding, understanding client requirements and how they translate into business benefits.

  • Proficiency in technologies like Java, REST, NoSQL among others.

  • Experience in developing highly scalable, low latency applications with high transaction per second (tps).

  • Ability to leverage newer technologies to architect and design resilient, reliable, and scalable services.

  • Comfort in leading discussions with non-technical teams and driving project execution.

  • Influence in architectural solution design.

  • Capability to mentor and coach junior team members.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player mindset.

  • Prior experience in software development and cloud computing is often required. This might include experience with platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.


Most important qualities for the candidate are:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Leadership skills to drive solutions and work with teams.

  • Curiosity to understand the clarity of requirements and the reasoning behind certain procedures.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

•. 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
• Proficiency in Java and REST for developing easily deployable and maintainable microservices
• Good skills in Spring Framework, Spring Batch, Spring i/o, and experience with Docker for containerization
• Basic to good knowledge of tools like Jira/Rally and experience working in an Agile team
• Familiarity with any RDBMS/NoSQL databases
• Strong communication skills to ensure your ideas are heard at all levels
• A passion for exceeding expectations and delivering exceptional code
• Knowledge of how to design, implement, and manage applications on the cloud, including understanding of microservices architecture, serverless architecture, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
