Responsible for a variety of functions within the distribution center, such as receiving, stocking, loading and unloading merchandise, picking and operating heavy-duty equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. Do not report employees who perform one of these duties as their primary function.

Main responsibilities:

Ensuring correct loading and unloading of vehicles, checking quantitative and qualitative documentation, completing formalities in documents and transporting the delivery to the right place Partial pallet consolidation to make the most of the warehouse space Daily delivery of goods needed to ensure a smooth production process to production lines Correct rotation of goods as required Reporting shortages or low stock levels - according to kanban needs Packing and/or securing parts and/or finished assemblies with foil to prevent damage during transportation Emptying cardboard and plastic waste recycling containers Consolidate returnable containers and prepare for return shipment to the retailer Manages internal pallet utilization and determines a pallet for recycling or disposal Any tasks needed to ensure accurate and timely movement of product for shipping/receipt/production

Qualifications, skills, competences:

UDT forklift licenses and practical forklift operating skills Practical knowledge of computer programs (i.e. MS Word, Excel, etc.) Experience with ERP systems Ability to work in a team Commitment and conscientiousness Ready to work in two shifts
