- Develop and execute production plans to meet delivery schedules, quality standards, and cost objectives.
- Ensure the factory operates at optimal efficiency while minimising downtime and waste.
- Manage inventory levels to balance production needs with cost efficiency.
- Oversee the maintenance of machinery, tools, and equipment to ensure operational continuity.
- Identify opportunities for capacity expansion, technology upgrades, and process improvements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers and supervisors to drive performance and accountability.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work culture.
- Ensure adherence to all quality assurance policies, standards, and industry regulations.
- Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Develop and manage the factory's operating budget, controlling costs while maintaining efficiency.
- Monitor KPIs, analyse performance data, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement lean manufacturing practices.
- Partner with the sales and supply chain teams to meet customer demands and manage lead times.
- Address and resolve production-related issues impacting customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong background in manufacturing.
- Proven track record in implementing lean manufacturing or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality assurance systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experienced in ERP/MRP systems and data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional problem-solving and crisis management abilities.
