We are looking for a self-motivated Senior Quality Engineer to join the Elroy team, developing the IDT fintech and neobanking solutions, which include:- backend systems, including AWS serverless services and dockerized applications- mobile applications in Android and iOS, React Native, Flutter Key Responsibilities: - Conduct backend (integration) and mobile app (end-to-end), exploratory and regression testing of the fintech solutions.- Design, develop, and maintain automated integration tests for backend services.- Ensure that releases meet the expected quality standards.- Document found defects in Jira and manage tickets lifecycle.- Collaborate with the development team and the product owner to understand the requirements and provide feedback.- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Proven 3+ years experience as a QA engineer. Understanding of QA methodologies, best practices and tools. Understanding of client-server architecture, concept of API, HTTP protocol, databases. Experience in testing mobile applications, testing APIs and automating tests.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with NoSQL databases. Familiarity with AWS environments. Familiarity with GraphQL protocol. Experience with performance/load testing. Experience with security testing. Familiarity with Java or JavaScript.
