Scope of duties:

In 2023 Flint Group launched a new sustainability strategy – PRISM, which includes commitments to reduce its overall carbon footprint. Over 2/3 of our footprint is related to the raw materials we buy hence the importance of engaging with our suppliers to reduce our Carbon Footprint. Flint has built a Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) tool which enables the organisation to report the carbon footprint of all of its products, based on the carbon footprint of raw materials. We are seeking an individual to establish Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reports including current carbon emissions and create processes to capture this information on an ongoing basis. You'll work closely with our Global Procurement team and our Sustainability manager to develop and execute our ESG strategies to influence operational excellence in Sourcing and Procurement (e.g. in areas of measurement, monitoring, targets, training, supplier engagement, case studies, ‘sustainable materials’ etc.)

In this role, you'll have the chance to make a tangible impact by working with our key supply chain partners across the business and the world but also with external partners such as suppliers, external organizations to reduce carbon emissions, improve social and environmental performance. This role will report to the Global Procurement Controller.

Day to day responsibility for sustainability raw material data processes Manage the Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) process from gathering supplier data through to integrating this into the PCF reports Flint provides to customers Collaborate with the Global Procurement team to engage suppliers to provide updated PCF for the raw materials they supply Inform and instruct suppliers on required information needed to build strong PCF database with continuous improvements Develop and manage ESG processes and programs as they relate to procurement, build and deliver communication strategies to drive improved supplier performance Drive continued data collection and verification processes for supplier ESG data e.g diversity and audits Establish and report on KPIs to measure compliance and performance of suppliers against ESG metrics Work with procurement team to build ESG factors into supplier selection Coordinate with the Regulatory and Sustainability teams to ensure alignment on systems, processes performance goals and initiatives What we want: A passion for Sustainability with some prior experience of either Supply Chain or Procurement An understanding of Procurement, its role within an organisation, how it adds value and interacts with other functions Fluency in English is required Knowledge of or experience working focusing on sustainability or sustainable procurement experience an advantage but not necessary Knowledge and some experience in LCA modelling, using software such as GaBi (desirable) The willingness to explore and learn new skills and approaches to drive improvements and help Flint achieve its ESG agenda A self-starter who will be solutions driven Excellent analytical skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Desire to be part of a dynamic, challenging and fast-paced organization Ability to work independently and also collaborate with individuals across business units, functions and cultures What we offer: Possibility to have real impact on the business Trainings, knowledge sharing & experience gained by working with experts Stable working conditions based on employment contract Hybrid work system, flexible hours Medical care, sport card, life insurance Exceptionally friendly working atmosphere and team support Modern office located in the Center of Łódź
