British American Tobacco POLAND has an exciting opportunity for a PURCHASING PLANNER in WARSAW

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?

Responsible to ensure that the raw material requirements of the factories are met with no interruption to supply continuity. To work closely with internal and external stakeholders raising and expediting material orders to mitigate potential issues and avoid any production disruption.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Place materials purchase orders/contracts in-line with supplier lead-times to meet multiple factory production plan requirements in SAP and Rapid Response system. Ensure period of material cover is sufficient, whilst maintaining target inventory levels and optimal supplier price. Maintain target stock levels within the factory. Execute all cost reduction activities initiated by procurement, factory, etc. Expedite delivery of materials with the supplier to the factory and where necessary resolve any logistics issues. Ensure master data accuracy in SAP and Rapid Explore opportunities for improved planning efficiency and placing of materials orders. Communicate proactively any potential material shortages to the Production Planning team to ensure the issue is resolved quickly with minimum impact to the factory

What are we looking for?

At least 1 year in direct raw material planning experience. Excellent analytical and planning skills. Good English proficiency (100% of the work is in English). High knowledge in Excel. Strong interpersonal & communication skills. To work unsupervised and under pressure. Good organizational and prioritization skills. Logistics, Supply chain or equivalent preferred but not essential Knowledge in Rapid Response /SAP
