Job Description

The Processor - Questionnaire Response is an integral part of our Data Protection - Products organization. He/she will support the response to customer requests for verification of our compliance to information security and privacy industry standards, laws, and regulations.

This position will report to the Director, Data Protection Compliance. He/she will also work collaboratively with the Motorola Solutions Data Protection Office and interface with numerous departments within Motorola Solutions such as Enterprise IT, security, and product teams to facilitate response to information security and privacy questionnaires. 

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Processing the completion of key steps in the customer questionnaire response process utilizing questionnaire response automation tool

Utilization of automated question/answer libraries to complete customer questionnaires

Input data received from members of various departments within the organization, including Cybersecurity, IT, Legal, Engineering, Products, Data Protection Office, and Compliance teams into questionnaire response automation tool to complete responses

Support maintenance of a centralized library of responses

Utilize internal resources to support the customer response preparation process, and to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved

Support initiatives that improve, automate, and streamline related processes.

Exercise good judgment in the course of performing activities, understanding and executing escalation procedures


Basic Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Able to effectively and logically communicate industry-related information in multiple formats to all levels

Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization

Self-starter able to work with minimal guidance and supervision 

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple requests and prioritize those tasks to meet deadlines

Customer-focused mindset, with demonstrated skill in managing expectations, providing proactive status updates, and producing high-quality work product

Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships 

Proficient in Google Applications and a willingness to learn and utilize new tools within the organization that support the working environment.

Skills and qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of work experience

5 years of related work experience, which includes 2 years of practical experience in data protection and/or privacy 

Auditor experience or certification a plus

Working knowledge of industry information security and privacy standards including, GDPR, NIST 800-53, ISO 27000 series and SOC2 trust criteria helpful
