Job Description

 We are looking to hire resourceful analyst to investigate activity for all types of digital and electronic risk.

In this role, you will research transactions and digital interactions with U.S. Bank. Types of activity includes, but is not limited to, money movement through Wire, ACH, RTP, P2P and FedNow channels along with website and mobile application usage anywhere our customers are in the world.

To be a successful Fraud Analyst Lead, you should have excellent investigative techniques, knowledge of the banking industry and be digitally engaged with mobile and online applications. A top-notch Fraud Analyst Lead should be able to work quickly, often under pressure, and have meticulous attention to details. This position will work cases as well as review the cases worked by a team of Analysts for accuracy, using various investigation methods and tools. Customer, business, or merchant contact may be needed for investigation. Additionally, the Lead may need to escalate the transaction on for final review, or take measures to protect the customer and bank from continued fraudulent activity.

Basic Qualifications 

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or computer science, or equivalent work experience 

  • Seven or more years of job-specific work experience 

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance 

  • Ability to lead and coach Analysts

  • Monitor the work flow to ensure department goals are achieved

  • Perform Quality reviews for accuracy

  • Ability to interpret technical and administrative instructions and use as a guide in solving similar problems or situations

  • Experience with loss mitigation

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications

  • Technical or trade school certificate in business or computer science preferred
