Meet your team

You will embark on an exciting journey with an international team, striving for performance excellence in SAP Commerce Cloud. You will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, including developers, QA engineers, performance specialists, architects, and product managers, to drive performance and quality optimizations in our product.

What you’ll do

Step into the role of performance enthusiast at our company, where you will drive the full spectrum of performance activities, including framework creation, testing for scalability, and analytical performance evaluations.

Role and tasks:

• Establishing a performance framework and driving the initiatives that follow
• Formulating and promoting best practices standards for performance excellence
• Developing and maintaining the performance test harness
• Tracking and relaying performance outcomes
• Identifying performance bottlenecks and recommending tuning strategies.
• Working alongside development teams to assess performance, conduct root cause analysis, and implement optimization solutions.

What you bring:

• Genuine interest in performance related topics
• Proficiency in back-end development with an emphasis on optimizing performance for Java and SQL (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL or equivalent)
• Expertise in software performance testing for cloud applications utilizing JMeter or Gatling, Grafana, Dynatrace, LoadRunner
• Familiarity of cloud application development (REST API, operation systems, pipeline automation)
• Good verbal and written English
• Enthusiasm about discovering and getting to grips with novel technologies and frameworks
