The Opportunity:

What we’re looking for

Minimum of 10 years of total related experience required - purchasing/logistics roles

Batchelor Degree in Supply Chain Logistics Management or related field.

Experience in managing small/medium size teams

Requires advanced knowledge of supply chain business practices and technical or operational skills related to the role.

Ability to engage stakeholders across organizations and build relationships cross functionally.

Pragmatic with ability to balance speed of execution against requested deliverable.

Proficient in Excel and SAP (Power Bi advantageous)

Excellent communication/presentation/analytical skills

Reliable and confident leading a team, follow strategic direction and drive change.

Excellent attention to detail and high-quality focus

Capable of leading department meetings and interact at director level and above when required

Fluent English language communication capabilities

Ensures team members have a clear understanding and receive training and comply with corporate or department policies, procedures, and standard work practices.

Responsible for influencing others to deliver results and drive change as well as engaging and or leading cross functional collaboration initiatives.

Manages a team within a department or organization to deliver operational results.

Oversees all aspects of day-to-day goal setting for operational objectives.

Supports in resolving all goods inwards queries regarding deliveries/stock/purchase orders as appropriate.

Acts as escalation support for managing the alignment of pricing.

Leads the delivery of team objectives on agreed metrics using TDM & ABS tools.

Supports the escalation of open PO service issues when necessary.

Co-ordinates with tactical support teams.

Liaises with the operations, product management, planning, and customer service teams to ensure all information regarding open purchase orders are communicated.

Attends & or chairs supplier operational and meetings when necessary, highlighting service issues and finding suitable solutions.

Attends and delegates attendance at supplier performance management reviews and hosts when requested.

Coach and develop professional and supervisory staff of direct reports.

Responsible for delivering training, providing employee coaching, and leading 1:1 career development discussion.

Responsible for leading and completing the annual performance management review process for direct staff and ensuring all leaders complete for the department.

Responsible for supporting process improvement initiatives, global standardization work, and ABS value stream mapping events

Ability to support executive level assignments as assigned with varying levels of complexity.
