your tasks
- Design, modify and optimise equipment from existing product portfolio.
- Develop new efficient and sustainable concepts and solutions.
- Discuss and provide input to technical solutions with Technical Advisors, Product Owners and Discipline Managers.
- Deliver designs on budget, time and quality.
- Report progress, identify project risk and suggest mitigating actions.
- Assist in the tender phase (read and comment on customer specifications, highlight deviations, and produce required documentation).
- Perform electrical calculations and analyse existing systems to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement, and propose corrective actions.
- Configuring and testing drive applications to ensure proper and safe operation including troubleshooting any problems that arise during commissioning phase.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge in the field of electrical and instrumentation engineering as well as class requirements, international standards, and country regulation regarding product design.
- Communicate technical deliveries both internally and externally.
- Participate in controlling technical documentation.
- Be able to take on the Engineering Lead role in projects.
- Advise and guide other engineers, acting as a mentor in your area of expertise.
- Provide internal and external technical support.
- Demonstrate excellent work ethic.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager (including flexibility for travel if required).
what we expect
- University degree (M.Sc. / B.Sc.) within Engineering
- 5 -10 years of relevant experience in a global organisation.
- Interdisciplinary understanding (design impact to other disciplines).
- Strong understanding of engineering design principles and practices.
- Collaborative with developed multicultural communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and E3 software.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good technical English skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to continuous improvement.
