The Opportunity:

Mersive Technologies, headquartered in the USA and expanding in Poznań, is the creator of a first-of-its-kind wireless presentation and collaboration platform.

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer, responsible for identifying and implementing improvements and process automation for day-to-day tasks/challenges in the early stages of product development of a new generation of the Mersive Solstice device, and build out test scenarios and test cases that utilize automation scripts to help ensure product releases are of the highest level of quality and functionality.

This is the ideal position for someone who likes to innovate and find ways to reduce the reliance on manual QA testing and make a real impact on product development.

 

What you will do:

  • Help define, innovate and implement automated Regression and New Feature tests.
  • Configure and maintain testing environments, create test plans and execute test cases.
  • Develop automated test frameworks from scratch.
  • Test result analysis and defect reporting within Jira.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, hardware engineers, and product managers to identify testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Conduct manual testing when necessary.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong JavaScript or TypeScript programming skills, Python a plus, with the ability to develop automated test frameworks from scratch.
  • Experience with Playwright (Cypress a plus).
  • 3+ years of related experience in Software or Firmware Quality Assurance
  • Postman platform experience testing using APIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written English (minimum B2) communication skills.
