Join Us as a 2D/3D Generalist (Freelance, Remote)

Elympics is seeking a talented and versatile 2D/3D Art Generalist to join our team on a freelance, remote basis. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on flexibility and is skilled in adapting to various project needs. Our approach to work is project-based, with tasks and projects assigned according to an agreed hourly rate. Each month, we will define the scope of activities and will agree on a time estimate for them, culminating in a monthly summary and invoicing.

Compensation:

  • Compensation is project-based, with payments made according to an agreed hourly rate ranging from 60 to 100 PLN ($8 – $25) per hour, depending on experience and task.
  • Monthly planning sessions to define the scope of work and time estimates, followed by feedback meetings, summary and invoicing at the end of the month.

 

Your role

As a freelance 2D/3D Art Generalist, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide of projects, from character design and environment art to UI/UX design and beyond. You will contribute to both the aesthetic and functional aspects of game development, ensuring high-quality visuals across multiple platforms, including PC and mobile.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Produce high-quality 2D and 3D art assets, including characters, environments, and UI elements and animations.
  • Work on a project basis, with activities and deliverables set out at the beginning of each month.
  • Adapt to varying art styles and project requirements to meet the expectations of diverse games.
  • Collaborate closely with game designers and developers (also freelancers) to ensure seamless visual integration.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in game design, art, and technology.

We're Looking for Someone With:

  • Proficiency in both 2D and 3D art creation for games.
  • Flexible, freelance working style, with availability for monthly planning and review sessions.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of art styles and mediums.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work remotely and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to issue VAT invoices for completed work.
