Description

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer who has strong programming ability and proficiency with Java backend.

As a part of the development team, you will help with the development of Alphabet Tooling.

Gain experience working with our best engineers every day from the client's office in Krakow or Wroclaw (this role involves daily work from the office).

Responsibilities

Develop new features, including semantic search, data model reconciliation, knowledge management mechanisms, etc Apply best practices for software design, development, and maintenance on small to medium-sized projects of high complexity and impact Maintain and refactor backend applications that rely on Google Infrastructure Analyze, review, and modify existing applications and infrastructure that rely on Google infrastructure to increase efficiency or improve overall testing, monitoring, etc Review and triage incoming technical bugs with a focus on business continuity

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of strong proficiency in Java Hands-on experience with Spring stack Good command of PLX (Googles analytical query engines) Advanced SQL knowledge (SQL for Data Analytics) Previous experience in Data-related projects (Data Migration/Reporting) Knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging Familiarity with Data Warehousing, Database Design, API Design, API Development, System Integration Background in Enterprise Software Architecture Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
