The Role

The Accountant is responsible for the properly and timely day-to-day Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger activities related to the entity(ies) he/she is responsible for.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Processing of expenses, vendor invoices and payments to vendors;

Responsible for purchase order matching and invoice approval process; Responsible for the management of client and vendor master data; Processing of sales invoices, payments and follow up of overdue payments; Preparation of payment batches and uploading them to bank portal; Posting of bank statements; Preparing of VAT declarations; Preparing of the monthly closing together with the Team Lead Accounting; Preparation and processing of account reconciliations; Responsible for the management of fixed assets; Preparation and processing correct Payroll reconciliation; Processing of general finance administration; Preparing of the monthly management reporting pack.

Competency Profile

MBO (Bachelor / Master) degree in accounting or equivalent practical experience;

Min. 2 years experience in a similar role; Experience in XX GAAP (country specialists) and IFRS; In-depth Excel skills and technology minded; Experience working in Business Central is a nice to have; Service minded, deadline focused and a team player; Excellent communication skills and committed to efficient and effective performance; Excellent organizational, technical and analytical skills; Critical mindset and practical problem solver; Languages: English / Dutch, other languages depending on allocated co-locations.
