This role provides research and development of design of Tablet Platform in Chocolate Category (Growth, QI, Brand Maintenance). It can also include projects from Productivity and Process implementation, provide processes to ensure product safety and consumer satisfaction.
As a Product Development Senior Scientist you will:
work independently as leader for New Product Development and Reformulation projects in line with R&D, marketing and manufacturing requirements conduct pilot plant and factory trials plan, lead and conduct development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation. etc.) Identify and drive new ideas and programs, and sell them to the appropriate business partners by translating technical information for non-technical business partners provide direction for product development obtain, understand and interpret consumer insights and commercial information by using digital simulation models create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications proactively identify complex technical or business problems and create and implementing solutionsTo be successful on that role you need to have:
5+ years experience in Food industry with proven records of multiple new product development Master’s degree in Food science/Technology/Chemistry Understanding of HACCP and GMP Good knowledge on food manufacturing technologies, ingredients and ability to operate the equipment Capability to work independently on product development projects and influencing cross-functional team Ability to plan and execute projects in timely manner Proven experience in managing senior stakeholders with strong influencing capabilities and collaboration skills Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills Fluent English (both written & spoken) Any other European language will be treated as an asseWe offer a fixed-term contract for 15 month.
The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland.
