BAT POLAND IS LOOKING FOR A VRO MANAGER

ROLE SUMMARY

The purpose of this role is to support the VRO Lead in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives within the Global Business Services (GBS) at BAT. This role will assist in executing strategic objectives, analyzing project performance metrics, and identifying areas for process optimization. Additionally, the role will contribute to fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across the team and stakeholders. By providing support to the VRO Lead, this role aims to contribute to the achievement of business value and operational excellence within the GBS domain.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Transformation

Spearhead initiatives to improve performance within BAT and across GBS, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Support the implementation of Continuous Improvement (CI) culture initiatives, leveraging appropriate tools and resources for value creation.

Business and Operational

Creates and communicates specific project performance dashboards and insights to Senior Stakeholders, for detailed analysis on the performance triggers, drives, capacity planning, interdependencies, blockages and escalations Ensures that projects are proceeding according to timelines, meeting targets and expectations, and adhering to established operating parameters; identifies and notifies stakeholders of issues affecting the portfolio and recommend and monitor corrective action Support project evaluation and scoping through the preparation and review of cost schedules, budgets and forecast returns Drives for simplified, scalable solutions, including identifying new opportunities to drive improvements Use statistical modelling and analysis to create scalable reporting and dashboards for operational efficiency and performance monitoring with the opportunity to influence the operational processes and performance Exhibit leadership when engaging with key stakeholders through behaviours and attitudes; encourage and drive efficiencies and a positive working culture Create and maintain value case in the tool selected Facilitate data input, validation and reporting process for the Program/Geos/Functions Provide status outlining performance for program metrics, risk and issues that would impact program value, benefits actuals and updated forecast Serve as the custodian of the Business Continuity Model within GBS, ensuring adherence to established processes.

Relationship

Collaborate effectively with relevant teams across BAT Enhance relationships and partnering with internal departments (users) as well as external providers Communicates effectively via all channels. Able to tailor messages to various stakeholder groups with minimal inputs/edits

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

3-5 years previous experience in working as Project Manager/ Projects Portfolio Manager/ Business Analyst or similar role +3 years Previous experience in handling multiple projects/tasks in a fast-paced environment Experience in Continuous Improvement (CI) models Proven ability to deliver independently, with limited guidance

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

• High Proficiency for Excel and Power BI

•MS Office applications

•Previous experience in working with Project Management software applications

•Address barriers through problem solving, communication and active coordination

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

• Degree in an Engineering, Statistics, or Business areas

• Project Management Certification (PMP or Prince2)

• Lean Six Sigma, Agile or Others
