Role Overview:

Huntsman Corporation’s Regional Supply Chain team is recruiting an experienced Transport Planner in our GBS center in Krakow, Poland. The Logistics and Distribution team is Huntsman’s regional logistics support responsible for the operational interface with external Logistics Service Providers (LSP). The focus of the team is to support our Advanced Materials divisions for the Europe, Africa, Middle East, and India region. The Transport Planner will support with the maintenance of the transport modules including clearing activities and all related system troubleshooting. The position is a full-time fixed-term contract until the end of December 2025 .

Role Responsibilities:  

As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for:  

Supporting the maintenance of freight forwarder tariffs - and all related tables - in the SAP transport module for all European Sites. Analysis of Transport costs — monthly and on request. KPI monitoring and reporting (Shipment statistics; Express costs; Not costed Shipments; Pending GI; DG failure statistic per haulier; Damaged at arrival; etc). Processing of Transport Cost Requests for all European sites. Processing of stock comparison reports. Clearing of stock differences (incl. update of standard price reports). Monitoring and approval of warehouse invoices & GE statistics (DE68 & NL62). Processing of damage reports. Analysis of warehousing costs and KPI feedback (DE68 & NL62). Plantain warehouse utilization statistic. Performs stock takings on request. Processing of SAP clearing requests. Processing of Legal Liabilities. Creating Purchase Requisitions in Ariba. Processing of NPI requests. Member of project teams and ad hoc tasks in agreement with supervisor. Identification of saving opportunities and business process improvements. Quality representative in L&D group for 5 S, ISO 9001 process descriptions and complaints statistic. Organization of hand-over to deputy in case of planned absences. 

Experience and Competencies:  

We are looking for experienced candidates with great attention to detail customer focus.  

What we are looking for:  

Bachelor’s or master’s Degree, preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain, with previous experience working in a transport role.  Good knowledge of supply chain processes. Good knowledge of PIS-Office Software and SAP-SD/MCI modules. Reliability, discipline, accuracy. Strong analytical skills and solution orientation. Transport experience including haulier exposure, dispatch goods, customs, and compliance requirements. Strong customer focus, with excellent communication skills and strong analytical skills. Fluency in English.
