Ciklum is looking for a Information Security Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland.

We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. As a Information Security Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
Whether on the go, in the subway, or at home on the sofa, the project supports those who enjoy learning outside of work or school. Since its founding in 2007, the company has grown to become the market leader in app based language learning. In total, Project offers 14 learning languages, from English to Indonesian. Professional courses are readily available via the Project website as well as on your smartphone or tablet. In the Project, 750 team members from over 50 different countries work hard to set standards for creating a new learning experience.

Responsibilities

Security methods and infrastructure must be planned, implemented, managed, monitored, and upgraded to secure corporate data and resources Assuring that sufficient security procedures and processes are in place to protect organizational data Vulnerabilities in networks and systems are being tested and identified Responding to security breaches with their SOC team, which includes cyber security analysts, pen testers, security consultants, cyber threat analysts, and compliance analysts on occasion In the course of security tasks, liaise with the appropriate departments of the organization Report authoring and administrative responsibilities

Requirements

We would still love to hear from you if you think you’re a good fit Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience with a proven track record of success 6+ years of experience in a DevOps engineering role with significant leadership experience Proven experience in designing, architecting, and implementing large-scale, secure, and reliable AWS solutions AWS Security & Architecture Skills (AWS certifications like certified solution architect & security specialty) Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor high-performing DevOps teams Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Relevant AWS certifications are highly preferred (., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS Security Specialty) Strong strategic and business acumen

Desirable

Experience / knowledge in SIEM and SOC Experience / knowledge in EDR / XDR Knowledge in business tools Google Workspace, Okta, MDM (simpleMDM, Intune) AWS Security & Architecture Skills (AWS certifications like certified solution architect & security specialty) – not as much as the Cloud security architect but general knowledge must be there Communication (English fully proficient, structured comms (why, what, how) and on point (brief, yet specific), no buzzword bingo, actionable) Analytical thinking (quickly understand architectures, endeavors, etc. and being able to ask the right questions to get to the relevant security aspects of it) Reasoning (being able to communicate why something is needed, what's in it for the stakeholder, what's in it for client, Security Measures (know different security measures for common security challenges with pros and cons and how to implement them) Terraform & GitHub knowledge

Personal skills
