In the Warsaw headquarter there is also one of 7 Finance Business Shared Services Center. Established in January 2018, it is one of L'Oréal's most rapidly growing units. BEST carries out accounting processes for 14 markets from Central and Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. BEST consists of the following departments: Process to Payment, Cash Accounting, General Ledger, Treasury, Delivery Excellence, and Controlling, responsible for OPEX costs. What distinguishes BEST is, among other things, the constant striving for process improvement and standardization. As an R2R Accountant, your responsibilities will be focused around a few main areas:

Fixed Assets

  1. Performing AUC settlements, assets transfer, and disposals.
  2. Managing FA closing activities.
  3. Performing and reviewing accounts reconciliation and key controls.
  4. Preparing reports according to TAP.
  5. Preparing ad-hoc reports.

Accounting Internal Control

  1. Following Standard Operating Procedures regarding Fixed Assets.
  2. Ensuring legal requirements respect and service quality.
  3. Informing/alerting on identified difficulties or failings.

Consolidation Reporting and Audit

  1. Preparing data for consolidation reporting on quarterly and hard close (May and November) basis.
  2. Preparing reports for audit purposes.
  3. Liaise with Auditors in case of any questions.

You are a perfect match if you have:

  1. Fluent English; knowledge of other language(s) will be an asset.
  2. University degree or in the course of study with a major in Economics, Finance, and Accounting.
  3. Knowledge of accounting rules, standards, and regulations.
  4. Knowledge of SAP, Compass, and Magnitude systems will be an advantage.
  5. Attention to detail and thoroughness.
  6. Knowledge and understanding of General Ledger processes.
  7. Strong customer-driven focus.
  8. Good analytical skills.
